Adrenaline rush

Well here we are again. I was thinking last night about this and semi talked with a few co-workers concerning this this very discussion. Is it more of an addiction to the game or is it more of an adrenaline rush that the people are looking for. I know for a fact, as I am talking about myself when I have played the game of Texas Hold'em, that when you win or are in a race off to see who is going to win the hand, when one of the players are all in, that you get a massive rush of adrenaline. Especially when you are playing for an extreme amount of money. So do you think that this could be the addiction to the game? Also when you get this rush, and you end up losing the hand, does the effect of the lose have anything to do with the addiction? You figure if you lose that as most people who are addicted to gambling, if I play again for a little more money, I will be able to make back what I have lost. i leave this up to you and your thought. Have a great day, even though it is raining.

  1. Well, i have never done much gambling but i think yeah it could be the rush you get from it... Mostly i think it is something that your mind has to work at and when you dont win you want to do it again and win because humans are made to defeat challenging anythings. So it is the want to show the game you are better than it... That is just my thought about it :)

  2. I would have to agree with your comment. So if we want to defeat something, could that have been instilled into us as youngsters. Like from playing games as a child or on the playground during lunch breaks in school
